Shipping Policy
1. Order Processing
Orders are processed once full payment has been received and confirmed by our team.
- Standard processing time: 3–10 business days (depending on stock availability).
- Certain models or large-volume orders: 2–10 weeks due to production, customization, or restocking lead times.
Customers will be notified by email if their order falls into the extended lead-time category or if unexpected delays occur.
2. Freight Shipping (Palletized Orders Only)
All shipments from Direct Chairs USA are sent on pallets via freight carriers.
- We ship from our main warehouse in Lauderdale Lakes, FL, or from partner distribution centers depending on stock.
- Deliveries are made to commercial addresses equipped with a loading dock or forklift.
- For residential deliveries or locations without unloading equipment, please inform us before shipping. Additional services such as liftgate delivery or inside delivery may incur extra fees.
3. Delivery Timeframes
Freight delivery times depend on destination, carrier scheduling, and the specific chair or table model ordered.
Estimated transit times after shipment:
- Florida & Southeast: 3–5 business days
- East Coast: 5–7 business days
- Midwest: 6–9 business days
- West Coast: 7–12 business days
These are estimates only and not guaranteed delivery dates. Carrier delays, weather conditions, or logistical factors may extend these timeframes.
4. Shipping Rates & Quotes
Freight costs are calculated based on shipment weight, size, destination, and delivery conditions.
- You may request a custom freight quote prior to ordering.
- If surcharges or adjustments apply (for example, rural zone fees or limited-access areas), our team will confirm with you before finalizing the order.
5. Receiving Your Delivery
Please follow these important steps upon delivery:
- Inspect all pallets before signing the Bill of Lading.
- If you notice visible damage, missing pallets, or other issues, note them clearly on the delivery receipt.
- Take photos of the damaged areas and packaging.
- Notify us within 48 hours at sales@directchairs.com.
- If damage is severe, you may refuse delivery and contact us immediately for assistance.
Failure to report visible damage or shortages upon delivery may void eligibility for claims or replacements under carrier policy.
6. Title and Risk of Loss
Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the freight carrier picks up the goods from our facility.
We will help file freight damage claims when appropriate, but responsibility ultimately rests with the carrier once the shipment departs our warehouse.
7. Delayed Shipments
If a shipment cannot be dispatched within the estimated timeframe:
- You will be notified with the new expected ship date.
- Under Florida law, you may choose to accept the delay or cancel the order for a full refund if it exceeds 30 days beyond the estimated timeframe.
